FIreplaces are one of my favorite architectural features in a home. While Atlanta does not have long or extreme winters, a beautiful fireplace can be one of the strongest design elements in your home. Whether your fireplace is made of brick, stone, or wood, the right paint finish and color can dramatically enhance its appearance.

At Revere Paints we offer an array of design choices for updating any fireplace.

From premium Benjamin Moore paints and finishes available in thousands of gorgeous colors, to limewashes, glazes, and Italian plasters that can be custom tinted, the Revere Paints team can help you pick the best product in the perfect color to update your fireplace before the holidays!

To help you narrow your color choice, the Revere Paints team has put together a list of some of seven Benjamin Moore colors ideal for transforming your fireplace into a show-stopping centerpiece:

1. Classic White: Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace OC-65

Nothing says elegance like a clean white fireplace. Chantilly Lace is a crisp, timeless white that brightens up any room. It pairs well with any décor style, making it a versatile choice for both traditional and modern spaces.

Why it works: This color reflects natural light, making the room feel open and airy while still providing a clean backdrop for art and décor.

2. Charcoal Gray: Benjamin Moore Bracken Slate CW-690

For those who want a bolder, dramatic look rooted in history, Bracken Slate  is the way to go. This deep, rich gray is named after John Bracken, a rector of Bruton Parish Church, mayor of Williamsburg and president of the College of William and Mary.

Why it works: The medium-dark tone anchors the room, making the fireplace a striking focal point, while remaining neutral. Pair it with lighter wall colors to create contrast and balance. In this photo, it is picking up the blue undertones of the sofa and additional decor.

3. Soft Neutral: Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter HC-172

Revere Pewter is one of Benjamin Moore’s most popular neutrals and for good reason. This soft, warm gray with beige undertones works well in any space, offering a cozy and subtle look for your fireplace.

Why it works: The versatile hue blends seamlessly with other colors in the room, providing a calming yet sophisticated finish that complements both warm and cool palettes.

4. Bold Black: Benjamin Moore Soot 2129-20

Nothing makes a statement like a black fireplace. Soot is a rich, velvety black that brings a sleek, modern edge to your living space.

Why it works: This bold choice creates a striking contrast against lighter walls, giving the fireplace a contemporary and chic vibe. It's perfect for those looking to add a bit of drama to their interior design.

5. Deep Blue: Benjamin Moore Hale Navy HC-154

For a stylish, on-trend look, Hale Navy is the perfect choice. This deep, rich navy blue is both classic and modern, adding depth and warmth to your fireplace without overpowering the room.

Why it works: Navy has become a popular choice for adding a touch of color without being too bold. Hale Navy complements a range of materials, from wood to brick, and pairs beautifully with metallic accents.

6. Warm Beige: Benjamin Moore Pale Oak OC-20

For a softer, more natural look, Pale Oak offers a beautiful, warm beige tone that’s perfect for creating an inviting atmosphere. It’s especially ideal for fireplaces with natural stone or brick elements.

Why it works: This neutral tone enhances the natural warmth of the fireplace, making the space feel more intimate and cozy yet sophisticated, especially during colder months.

7. Earthy Green: Benjamin Moore Vintage Vogue 462

Earth tones are making a huge comeback, and Vintage Vogue offers a rich, olive green that adds a unique, sophisticated touch to your fireplace.

Why it works: This bold, yet earthy hue pairs beautifully with wood accents and works well in both modern and traditional spaces, especially those with a natural or rustic aesthetic.
